VideoBookcasePlus is designed with privacy at its core. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data or video content.
Your video library remains entirely on your device. We believe your personal media is just that—personal. This privacy policy explains our practices in detail.
Information We Do NOT Collect
VideoBookcasePlus does not collect:
- Your videos, photos, or any media content
- Personal information such as name, email, or phone number
- Location data or device identifiers
- Usage patterns or behavioral analytics
- Any data that could identify you personally
Permissions We Request
VideoBookcasePlus requests the following permissions to function:
- Photo Library Access: Required to display and play your videos within the app. This access is read-only and your media never leaves your device.
- iCloud (Optional): If enabled, your app settings and organization preferences sync via iCloud. Video files themselves are managed by your iCloud Photo Library, not by our app.
iCloud Sync
When you enable iCloud sync, the following data is stored in your personal iCloud account:
- Your custom categories and organization settings
- App preferences and display options
- Favorites and viewing history (stored locally, synced via your iCloud)
This data is encrypted and stored in your personal iCloud account. We cannot access this data. Apple's iCloud terms and privacy policy govern this storage.
In-App Purchases
VideoBookcasePlus offers in-app purchases processed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not have access to your payment information. All transaction data is handled by Apple according to their privacy policy.
Third-Party Services
VideoBookcasePlus does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only external service used is Apple's App Store for purchase verification and iCloud for optional sync functionality.
Children's Privacy
VideoBookcasePlus does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 years of age. Since we do not collect any personal information from any users, our app is safe for users of all ages.
